Want a minstrel banjo for free?

Well, you'll have a chance in July. Starting around the middle of the month BHO will be giving one of my new minstrel banjos away as part of their free drawing. You can enter once per day or join the banjo players union for twenty bucks a year (to help support the site) and get entered once per day automatically.

It's going to be a sweet instrument, and I'm working out the specs right now. It'll have a grade-A figured rock maple neck like the tackhead picture below on the right, but with steel hardware and a fully adjustable head like the minstrel banjos on the left. Click on either photo to see more, and don't forget to enter the drawing!

Yes, BHO = Banjo Hangout

The BHO "players union" is simply a name given to people who support the BHO via donations...there's no affiliation with any trade or craft union. If you look down the left-hand side of the homepage, you'll see a clickable link to "Player's Union" (under "support this site", which is itself part of the Hangout Store). Clicking that "Player's Union" link will send you to the store where you can add membership donation to a shopping cart. When you check-out, it will give you options on how to pay.

Note, you don't have to be a member to enter the drawing. There's a page there full of information on the drawing and how to, etc.
