First of all, I think this whole "Friday tune" thing is a hoot...and if we keep it up, we'll have ~50 tunes under our belts by next year. I can't say that I'll keep up, but at least I'll try. BTW, I started a new discussion...which I recommend for each week. That way, it will make searching for tunes a LOT easier.
I went to a festival today (Nashville's "Breaking Up Winter" Old Time fest) and played OT clawhammer banjo continuously from 10am to 5pm. My fingers are sore!
On the positive side, there was a great vendor there, "The Cleff'd Ear", who has just about every music book ever printed. Not only did I score a copy of "Ryans", I also found "Howe's 1,000 Jigs and Reels". Between those two and O'Neil's, I have enough fiddle tunes to last several lifetimes...
So, while I will be working on "Jim Along Josie" (though I cannot imagine singing), I propose something in A...and a hornpipe, just to be different: "Lincoln's Hornpipe", page 132 (orig. page 192). I can't scan it till Monday...but I might be able to produce TAB/Notation by tomorrow night.

PS, my apologies if this tune turns out to be a trainwreck. I can't read/scan except for "range"...no telling if this tune will work on the banjo.
PPS, I'm informed by Mr. Twiss that he has already posted video of this tune. That figures. I'll go find another!
