From Septimus Winner's New Primer for the Banjo, 1864. Played on an 1890s Dobson pony banjo.

Try playing this one back-to-back with The Great Eastern Jig and Joe Murphy's Jig...
Started to play along. Got most of it then thought maybe I should look at the music.
Not in the big four but I've heard it many times so I know it's not in an obscure source. Where is it?
In the Winner's 1864 New Primer for Banjo (via Tim's tab book). It's quite similar to the great Eastern Jig in Buckley 1860, and joe Murphy's Jig in Buckley 1868.
Do you think these banjo tutor authors were intentionally copying and renaming each others' tunes (with slight variations), or was it subconscious and innocent?
