Does anyone know where I can good downstroking version--preferably in banjo tab, but standard notation would be OK--of Angelina Baker? (Not to be confused with the later old time song, Angeline The Baker).
Thanks for your help!

Here's a good one.
Tim!
I hope you are well.
Thank you so much! I know the later version "Angeline The Baker," in clawhammer and love it. I thought it would be fun to learn "Angelina Baker," too, and perhaps create a medley of both songs. Thanks so much for the tab. It looks like it is in the key of C. Is that correct?
Also, I'll have you know how much I love your early banjo instruction book and the "Early Banjo Complete" thumb drive. They have been so helpful, fantastic resources. So, I've been practicing the exercises while listening to you performing them. Also, I have learned a few songs and committed them to memory: "Briggs Corn Shucking Jig," "Boston Jig"--I had to learn this one since I'm from the Boston area! and "Cottonpod Walk Around." While doing this, I'm learning lots of clawhammer pieces--old time music. Last and certainly not least, I made a gourd banjo from a kit and inlaid and engraved the neck myself, wood and mother-of-pearl. It plays pretty well. I've attached pictures.
Thanks again! All the best, Mike
Thanks Mike. Your instrument looks fantastic.
Do you sing? The arrangement I gave you works either way.....as a solo or to accompany your voice. I play it that way, but often insert chords at the obvious places.
Hi Tim.
Thanks. No, not usually. I haven't mastered being able to play and sing at the same time. The only song that I can sing and play simultaneously is "Boil Them Cabbage Down." Thanks for the tip about inserting chords into the song; that will be very useful.
Thanks again Tim for your help!

Thanks so much for the link of Tim playing and singing Angelina Baker. Thanks also for your kind words about my gourd banjo!
