I found this great little Jig in "Thirty-Eight Tunes Appropriate for Tin Whistle, Fife, Flute, or Violin" published by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.

Good tune and well played Mark. I'm sure I've danced this one. Some years age we had an English Country Dance group here in frederick, Kate Van Winkle Keller would come up sometimes to dance. If you've not read any of here publications you may want to check them out.

Yes, Wes, I've perused her book about dance but missed the connection that the Country Bumkin was a dance used to close out the evening and was similar to a Virginia Reel. Thanks for the link and info!
Wes, that looks like a great book! Though a librarian for nearly a quarter century, I don't enjoy reading but I might be compelled to do so if I had a copy of that. Looks like I'd have to resort to doing so online as the hard copy appears pricey and difficult to acquire.
