Building a minstrel banjo

A few months ago there was a terrific series on just about all aspects of building minstrel banjo(s). I thought I had saved it but have since lost it and cannot seem to find it. Can some2one point me to it as I would like it for a reference to my own building of Minstrel lbanjos? It had a lot of great photos and building information on just about every part of a minstrel banjo.. It may have been on another bango site but for whatever reason I can't seem to find it. Anyway I'd appreciate any information on its whereabouts.

you are likely thinking about dan knowles', "birthing 1850" thread on the banjo hangout. do a search there. even if youre not thinking about that one, its a pretty fun read, so you should check it out.
