Thimbles in action.
Received my Joel Hooks thimbles in the mail today. Man, these are nice. Don't slip off the finger, but aren't cumbersome, either, like those ACRI ones can be. Actually, these are way above ACRI for authenticity, but they play well, too. Just a quick note of praise, now I gotta get back to my jigs and reels...

I also got a package in the mail containing thimbles. Say, these things work quite well! I'm very pleased that they are large enough to cover my nail completely. They are robust and once fitted, they are comfortable. I was whacking away with them in a few short minutes...the old Acri picks are going in the "backup-to-the-backup" box.
Excellent work, Joel. A home run on your first 'at bat'! If I can scare up a few minutes, I'll video one in action.
