World O' Videos

I wonder if all the members here realize that there are over fifteen hundred music videos posted on this site by members.  That's an amazing number of players and tunes ...all kinds of fascinating and diverse material to be sampled from, representing a whole world of musical inspiration and many different personal sounds. 

I was thinking- wouldn't it be great if a nice variety of these videos were featured in the video section...with the featured videos getting changed up every couple of weeks for a good variety?  That way folks would get to re-visit and re-appreciate some of the great stuff (and maybe not so great too) that may have been posted a while back but had sunk to the bottom.  There's a heap of gold down there under the surface. It'd be fun to see things pop up, and fun too to have new people notice and comment on them.

aits a great idea. I actually worked my way through most of them before I actually joinede site. Some way of featuring select videos would be of great benefit to us new members.

I think anyone can feature a video if you find one you want to do that to. Under "options"...hit "feature". It will appear at the top of the video page, until you hit "stop featuring".

Only site moderators and administrators get an "Options" drop down menu for videos...or for 'featuring' discussions, photos, members, etc.     Regular members get no Option box and are not able to 'feature' any of those items.
