Ha!  I'm speechless!  Actually, it ain't funny at all.  Sweeney can transcend time and not only does it sound good.... it's very fitting.   After all...in a way, minstrel music WAS the rock & roll of it's day.

I recall that when I first heard you play at the Cobblestone Farm you likened "Old Dan Tucker" in 1843 to "Rock Around the Clock" in 1955 or "Hound Dog" in 1956.  It took the country by storm because it was new and different.
