Baur is SO original. And traditional.....and supports the idea that Briggs' book actually sounded like how some people played back then.
Not sure I follow...
There is a quote......I will dig to find it. Baur was saying that "the Briggs' book gives a very good idea of how the banjo was played" back then. I think it was in a Stewart Journal.
But, Baur has all these wild and creative things...Electric Light Reel etc., and then some fairly straight ahead stuff. I think that book is just peachy.

Paul I'm having a banjo built..its 13" inch also...so for me it was sure nice to hear what it might sound like!!!
