Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

A simple but eloquent arrangement of the Stephen Foster tune, from James Buckley's 'New Banjo Guide' of 1868, played fingerstyle. Annoying background noise provided by the dog.

I've always liked that one and is among many of Foster's that deserve more play.

I've always thought that was the perfect title for that tune- very stately and 'lady-like'.

Nicely played Andy!
