Delightful arrangement, Mark. I like the whistle in here too.
I notice in the images, the large tambourines are being played more like the way a frame drum might be set on the lap or the ground. Also in one, possibly snare strings are strung across the tambourines.
Yup. Drums, not jingles!
A tambouron or tamboron, perhaps? (on being the 'big' suffix in Spanish) :D
