Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

My arrangement from the fiddle tune found in Ryan's Mammoth Collection. Soon to be in a new tab collection.

Wow.  I was expecting the usual AABB and return to the A portion.  Then you went up the neck.  Caught me completely off guard.  Great view of the technique on the barre chords up the neck.

I never noticed the ring on your right hand in your other videos.  Maybe you could get one that illuminates for even greater visual effect.  ;)   Good tune, I'll take a look at it.  There are a lot of good tunes in Ryan's.   Have you tried "American Rifle Team"...but change it from 'D' to 'G'.

Of all the very fine tunes you have posted, this one grabs me more than the rest. Guess it's the up chord bar shift that's so nice. Very fine indeed.

Thanks. Yea, that third section really lifts it up.

I like the kind of spooky A part the best!
