Early Minstrel song by Rob Morrison
Tags:
Here's my version of an early 1840's minstrel song found in Bob Flesher's "Learning Minstrel Banjo" book. I'm playing an 1880's James Morrison banjo with the first patented tone ring. Tuning is Briggs High bass.
Hi Rob,
Great tune.
Thanks Dan. I really like this little known tune. It's fun to play, too.
Nice touch on the harmonics.
Thanks Al. That tone ring creates a sound you really can't get without it.
I really like this!
