Going Across the Mountains, Minstrel Banjo

My version of an old mountain song, played on my homemade minstrel banjo. I am still learning this instrument, but it sure is a fun one to play. Hope you enjoy! I don't have the stroke style or claw hammer just yet. This is Jason style....

Thanks so much Strumelia.  I really want to get cracking on the stroke and claw hammer styles.  Alas, being a father of 2 with a full time job I don't have a lot of practice time.  So right now I am just having fun with it, and I love the sound.  I am also planning on making a hard shell period case, again when time allows...

You're blessed with a great voice and knack for banjo. Very enjoyable. Cool playing your own banjo, ain't it?
