I have one as well. I have a rather large hat collection. Favorites are my bowler, fedora, and Irish cap.

Cool. I picked this one up along with a beaver top hat. There was a bowler also which I didn't get. All were in very good condition.

I've got a beaver topper and a bowler as well, among many others.

This might take some getting used to.....about like seeing Andy in 21st century clothing, which I assume he sometimes wears. ;)   So is this your summer-wear?

And, oh, by the way.  Nice job on Brighton Jig.  Tim and I really should work this one up since Brighton (MI) is only about six miles away.

Paul, especially cool to see the progress from your recording last year: http://minstrelbanjo.ning.com/video/brighton-jig-1

I too am known for my hats in my hometown...though none of them are minstrel-banjo-ish in the least.  Most are wool with decorative embellishments.  I think men have a much more 'cool' selection of mid 1800s hats....can't see myself in most of that period's ladies' hats.

Al - I've got a ways to go before my sartorial transformation is complete...
Thanks Lisa - perhaps one of the virtues of learning, forgetting, and relearning a tune.
