Briggs Corn Shucking Jig - Groove Version

Taking the standard minstrel banjo tune from Briggs Banjo Instructor, 1855 and adding some different "groove" feel to it. Why not? It's just fun :) There's a buzz sound that I think is my built in mic. I noticed if I'm farther away from it, the sound suffers.

Didn't hear any buzz, but what's already in my head, but up there I did imagine someone dancing to that, the steps closely matched to your rhythm groove. I like it and might steal it. Dave

Steal Away Dave!  You just have to swing your head back and forth like me haha.  Get lost in a tune and who knows what'll move with it.

Doing a little head shackin there...lol!

You know, with that rhythm groove you added, it almost sounds like a Jamaican steel drums tune this way!

I like how you play it, fun.   :)

It does have a steel drum thing to it for sure.  Kinda what I had in my head when playing.  Glad you enjoyed it!

That rhythm is not only Jamican steel drum-ish, but it's definitely got the African feel to it.

But this is terrible- now this rhythm of yours is going to be messing with my mind when i play this tune from now on...  =8-o     and maybe i'll start head shacking too....   nooooooo!       lol
