Smashing. You play triplets on that "finger glide" in the second half of Circus Jig, I thinks it's written out as straight eighths. Just commenting- if you're doing your own embellishment more power to ya.
I figured it was time, damn the torpedo's and just throw something up the flag pole.
I need to look at that again, I think I just got that motion in my head when I was learning the TAB and kept playing it that way. This is what I need, I'm begging for the constructive criticism. Thanks Carl!
I use the Rice pull on that part.
Went back and played that part, I am hitting it as eighth notes, but for some reason I go into hyper drive on that glide, it does sound like a triplet, then and the rest of my tempo seems varied. Totally different listening to yourself on a video and a big monitor. yikes!!!
Woohoo! Another 1st vid! I'm addicted to "Circus Jig" lately. My son likes the second part with the eighth notes best! Nicely done Mr. Bechtel!
Huzzah!
Thank ya very much. needed to get it out of my system. I had yet to record myself on video. Very helpful for seeing where you one is at playing and execution wise. Whew! now to focus on another. This IS fun!
very nice, you should be proud of this vid! I like the" finger brush " Rhiannon does the brush, Its not easy. kudos
Nick, good to see you took the jump. Sounds good. What's next?
