Great stuff, Paul! Is this your banjo arrangement?

Thank you Lee.  Yes, I just sat down and started playing it like that.

Great, Paul! This is one of my favorite tunes/songs. Ever since I first heard Dwight Diller play it, I have been wanting to learn it...Some of his words are different. Thanks for sharing...

Hi Paul,

Thanks to Strumelia, I got this link and heard your gorgeous rendition of Angelina Baker. I got Tim Twiss's wonderful version, downstroking banjo tab, and was wondering if you had tab for this version that you would be willing to share. I know the old time tune Angeline The Baker, in clawhammer, and thought it would be fun to learn to play a medley of the two, combining downstroking (Angelina Baker) and clawhammer (Angeline The Baker) or learning the two using just clawhammer.

Best,

Hi Mike - thanks for your kind words. Unfortunately I never tabbed it out. Being a little swamped at the moment I'm not sure I'll get to it soon. However if and when I do, I'll share it. My version is pretty straightforward so in the meantime you may be able to pick up most of it by ear. Thanks for the interest and good luck!

Thanks Paul. I've been learning a version from a songbook of Foster's songs. It has treble and bass clef staffs--for piano I think. I'll start from there and listen a lot a try to pick up by ear.

Best,

Mike
