Alabama Joe on My 1st. Self Made Banjo

Alabama Joe on my 1st self made banjo , I made entry spike too low, so head is too high, so forgive the many finger strikes on the head, Im going to lower it.

A tune from 1855 the tempo is slowed

Bravo....nice instrument, and a good feel to the tune. Not fast....but a nice solid feel. I like it. Keep it up.

Really good, Steve.  The banjo, and the playing.

That banjo has a great bass end. Good stuff.

That's a great start, far better than the first banjo I started on!

Awesome! Make an instrument and then play it - that must be extremely satisfying... I have trouble making satisfying toast sometimes...

Nice! I like the tempo. But why do you think it is "slowed"? Slowed compared to what? There are no tempo indicators in the early tutors.
