 oh that's beautiful!  I know you had a great wknd.      I used to use fedex,,, but now usps,  seems like they are a bit more expensive,,, and most are as surly as the fedex people,,, but they kinda got us over a barrel. Ive heard UPS is worse.

At first glance people would think this is a fretted banjo, because of the scribed flush fret markers.  Of course when I move the bridge around the markers become useless, except as rather oddly-placed visual reference points. Sometimes better to not look at all, if possible  ...lol!   I know my brain will eventually adapt to such things once I play long enough.  I love the little triangle patch of leather tacked on the fingerboard, like the corner of some old captain's trunk.

Who says you need 35 brackets, when 7 will do just fine?   :)  This banjo weighs almost nothing, even with its 13" pot!

 I wonder if the leather patch is purely decorative,,, or if  some Boucher secret lies beneath
