That makes a nice shot. I like the picture.
thanks Tim. :)
...and not a fret in sight!
WOW! That's a beautiful banjo!
Yeah hair raising scare is right.... FedEx actually delivered my beautiful banjo to the wrong house and then drove away... =8-0 The driver stuck it inside some unknown person's garage, closed the garage door...and it was marked online as 'delivered'. Almost 2 hours later, the company had to call the driver back to my town to go get it back, since he was the only human who knew where it was! Aaaaggggghhhhh!!!! Terry and I both almost had a cow yesterday, hollering at Fedex on the phone from NY and Michigan both. O M G.
I'm glad to know Fedex cares as much about all their customers as they do here in Mich. I've had similar experiences as a business owner. Until a driver is singled out and totally reamed ( by their boss ), they continue that behavior.
I guess that explains why I never received two CDs that I ordered via Amazon. I spoke with Fedex and their records show it was delivered. I can't imagine any of my neighbors enjoying the genre of CDs I ordered!
it's great , like it a lot. I wouldn't mind hearing about the banjo behind you
in that pic. The one with the slotted peghead.
It looks like a short scale and it looks good too
Ron, that white formica banjo is a normal-ish 25" scale. I have a video on this site where I'm playing it while waiting for my 'real' minstrel banjo to be made. You can read more about that white banjo here. It really does best and is intended to have steel strings though, it's a Cockerham repro.
Thanks for responding. Your article is well written and very informative.
I have a couple of ugly duckling banjos that I've built but nobody has
asked to be informed if they go up for sale...lol
