Made breakfast for Dom and his trio, and had an awesome two hour bones crash course. :)

Bones...they're not just for breakfast anymore.

Thanks Steve.  It was such a great weekend altogether, including their concert on saturday night.

Bassist/fiddler Brian Farrow (middle) wanted very much to take up limberjack, and I gifted him a spare that I had and gave him some starter tips. (everyone should own a 'spare limberjack' IMHO)

My super lesson with Dom for bones paid off- after several unsuccessful attempts over three years, I finally broke through my learning barriers and got something going after this.  I seem to have my own style (which is still quite limited), but I enjoy it so much and am very slowly getting better as I continue practicing, as in here.  With time i will add to my abilities.

It's said that you can teach a dozen people to play the bones all in the exact same class...and a year or two later they will each have developed their own unique personal style.
