Thank you Strum! Of course it is an adaptation. I’ve changed just a few words to make it acceptable to 21st century audiences, I am improvising RH guitar style ... but, it is STILL Billy Whitlock’s song and one of my personal favorites of the Antebellum Period! Best Wishes, Tom
