The great thing about my copy is that the binding is completely shot. That meant that copying it was pretty easy as each page could be laid flat on the copier. We no longer have a copier here at work (technology has moved on, I guess) so I have resorted to digital photography. I do plan on doing the Converse again, digital photography yields a cleaner copy that can be manipulated.
As I recall, I did consider removing the "diagrams" section (or simply not copying it) at the time.
Somebody here (or on the Classic banjo) has another copy...perhaps Rob MacKillop?
Mine claims it is ''Revised And Enlarged'' and copyrighted 1886 and 1887. So, you could have the RARE 1st edition, Tim, or at least a copy of it.
