This is great- the People's music!  Everyone can have a good time and sing along.  Love the energy.   :)

Nice sound.  Love the combo of instruments.

thanks Strumelia, we've revived a very old tradition on this side of the ocean, the café chantant, meaning "the singing bar". So the idea is we walk in, pick up our instruments, tune up (more or less), and launch into any song we feel like playing, and yes, you've got it spot on, the idea is to just have a good time and, where possible, for everyone to sing along ! And, as long as everyone's willing to leave their ego at the door, everyone can bring their instrument and join us ! So no amplification, no showing off, and "our audience" really appreciates this approach more and more !

thanks Tom, we've got a kinda of hardcore of "the band", and thus far we have a few fiddles, a banjo, a ukulele, a few guitars, a doublebass, a pianist, a few singers, and on this gig the woman on the left with the hammered dulcimer, so anyone who wants to join in can have a go at it, which makes for loads of fun and getting to meet new people !

and, as my friend James likes to put it, we play in "the people's key" a lot, meaning the key of G, off course  ... :)
