Cool!
It's going to be here tomorrow/Friday! I'm illogically rushing around neatening things, like I was getting ready for my prom date to come to the door.... lol! ;D
Now I won't have any more excuses to not practice on some easy tunes from the minstrel repertoire. (uh-oh)
Good thing I have Tim's new book and some other learning material.
It will take a while to get familiar with how Terry and I worked out the key/tuning 'map' on this head. I have some extra strings to cover any 'mistakes'. ;-o
Terry i love how you located the finger wear spots on the fretboard to make the statement that this banjo was played in minstrel/stroke style for decades... :) Clawhammer wear over time would be in a different location. Plus the poopy-icky goat head I asked for that wound up requiring additional effort. Impressive detailing. :)
must be those positive vibes that's getting it there by the weekend :) yeah for you, Im green.
Lisa, film an "opening the package" video for us!!! You're gonna love the feel of the neck, AND the length of it. Wait til you see "150 years" of smudges, scratches, dents, and dings. There's lots that my camera didn't catch - lots of stuff you requested.
Terry I'm sure it will be amazing. :)
Not too sure about an "opening the package" video though... sounds a little unseemly! lol
Sweet! That's one cool banjo!
