Well done and nice job on the banjo.  Are you finding anyone to play with in the UK?

Excellent Johnny!  What a fine banjo you built!  I looked on your homepage but did not see any info about ordering.  Please let us all know about pricing and availability.  We all look forward to more!  Keep up the good work spreading the news of Early Banjo.  Maybe it will be like the second coming of Old Joe Sweeney!  ;-)

Thanks Tom. Yes my website is a bit amateurish but there is a prices page. They start at £650 - thats a basic fretless neck and paddle headstock, hand made hardware, calf skin vellum all other details are on my prices page. If not then drop me a line and i will make anything. I only make to commission and have nothing in stock. i aim to get built within 4 months but as im building during my spare time (i also have a freelance day job) this sometimes takes a little longer. All my woods are either from reclaimed furniture or from sustainably sourced U.K. growers. Im about to finish another which i'l put up here as soon as its ready... so maybe folks are getting the minstrel banjo bug over here... slowly but surely.
