You know, the way you are playing it on your minstrel banjo makes it sound reeeeally 1850s..!  This is a great tune!  Did you perchance work up a banjo TAB version of it...?

Are you coming to Sweeney's ?

Thanks! That's quite a compliment, coming from you. :-) No, I don't have a tab version. I play mostly by ear or just following chord charts. Our trio played this song a while back, but in a different key. When I got the Boucher, I worked it out in D. As far as Sweeney's goes, I wish I could. That's a long way to travel, and my vacation time is already booked up for the year. It's likely to be some time after retirement before I can make trips like that.
