Sorry, not Carl's fault. He was transported through time. This is just where he got plopped down. He held up rather well as I recall. Did not totally understand the port-a-john, but caught up quickly.

"left my jawbone sittin' on a fence mixer amp..." Sometimes the folks running events will plop you down in front of a mike, never seemed right to refuse, especially if they went to the trouble to set it all up.
