This sad news just came across my FB feed, I thought I'd share it with folks here on this forum.

Never met him but I always enjoyed the Camptown Shakers and they certainly won't be quite the same without him.

I saw too, bummer indeed. Been listening to my CDs today.

Oh my, that's a big blow.  I am a huge fan of the band, and Renny's fiddling was so joyful and rich.  Just yesterday i told another person they absolutely must get all three CDs by the Camptown Shakers-  they really bring the music to LIFE!

I'm not on FB but Dave is a member here and I hope he will know how much he and Renny's family is in our thoughts.  Renny's fiddling will be inspiring folks for many many years to come.

Oh, my! I am so sorry to hear this. I heard the Camptown Shakers play once. Renny paid a visit to Ft Delaware and heard me play this past season(2015). We had a nice visit. I am so sad to hear this...
