John Sidney’s Lament
John Sidney “jinned” the cavalry at 16 yrs old in 1862. He was captured the last day of Gen. John H. Morgan’s “Great Raid” And was imprisoned at infamous Camp Douglas. Released in early 1865, after losing a brother at Douglas.
