Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

Hello everyone,

I was just doing some online searching and found that Joe Ayers is now online with a new website (http://web.me.com/mtcove1/TuckahoeMusic/Home.html) and a blog (http://joeayers.blogspot.com/).

Welcome to the World Wide Web, Joe!

Best regards,

Greg

yes, Joe is back on the scene and trying to work hard at countering Tuckahoe's image as the "shyest publisher ever", as one member wrote. He was going to wait until his new recording (material from Gumbo Chaff's book) is out in a month or two before he posted links to Minstrel Banjo, Banjo Hangout etc. But since the cat is out of the bag, please go and visit his site. You can follow the link posted by Mr. Greg Adams or go there via www.joeayers.com as well. At the store you can find the Briggs, Rice, Buckley, Converse books among others, and his last Classic Banjo recording of the Rice material called The Banjo 1858, now released on CD. Keep an eye out for the new material coming soon (all solo 4 string gourd banjo stuff!)
