Howdy All,

 

Here is the proposed itinerary for this years conference.  Note the fee has gone up to $50.00 because we are including a lunch on Saturday.  If anyone has questions, you may email me at pryeducation@civilwarmed.org.

Proposed Itinerary

 

June 24-26, 2011

Registration opens 3:00pm Friday afternoon

Saturday starting at 8:30am

Sunday starting at 9:00am to 12:00pm

 

Preliminary Itinerary

Friday

3:00pm            Registration/Check-in

8pm                 Show and Tell

Jam Session

9:00pm-8:30am  Camping in Pry barn

 

Saturday

8:30am            Check-in, coffee and pastries

9:00                 Lecture (speaker TBD)

10:30  `            Lecture (speaker TBD)

12:00               Lunch (provided for registered participants)

1:00                 Mentoring/Jam Session

2:30                 Lecture

6:00                 Concert preparation

7:30pm            Concert

9:00pm-8:30am Camping in Pry barn

 

Sunday

10:00am          Lecture

11:30               Wrap-up

Mini-concert on the battlefield in the early afternoon.

 

Mentoring during all breaks.

Hands-on workshop on making nuts and bridges and fine tuning.

Friday evening dessert reception.

Lunch provided on Saturday to registered participants.

Camping in Pry barn on Friday and Saturday nights.

 

Call for papers deadline June 1, 2011.

 

Participant Show & Tell: Participants can share new tunes, techniques, research, resources, etc.  Must pre-register to present.

How about a Skype video broadcast for those of us who can't make it?

Hey, not a bad idea!  We'll think about it.  Being there in person will be much more fun.

Ooh!  Mini concert on the battlefield in the early afternoon on Sunday.  I'm going to to a rendition of "My Mini and Me."

Here is the file that contains the information above AND a registration form.  Currently, we have about a dozen registered participants.  I hope to see you there!
