Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

Would anybody be interested in gathering at Frank Converse's last resting place in Elmira before the 2011 EBG?

Joel Hooks and I are going to be there.  The date would be Thursday, June 23rd.  AEBG starts the next day.  I foresee a morning/afternoon of music, video-making, and good times not only at Frank's grave but at Mark Twain's, too, who (inexplicably) is the main draw there.  It'd be great if a bunch of us early banjo fanatics spent the day playing music with two of the 19th centurys most prominent banjo enthusiasts. It would also be a good tune-up for the main event at the Antietam Battlefield, which promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The cemetery is Woodlawn National Cemetery--

I'm going to tentatively say yes. It's the week after my annual large stress-out event at the museum. Hanging out in a cemetery with you guys and Frank and Mark Twain sounds like good therapy.
