Minstrel Banjo

I just finished  a fretless 11" tackhead internal tension. The internal system it also works as a tone ring.

The banjo is fitted with aquila red strings, is the first set of this kind of strings that I have used.

The bridge is a 2 footed zebra wood made by David Cunningham.

I really like the 19th-21st century mash-up of this. Good-looking instrument!

Clever design!  Skin heads really need the capacity for some sort of adjustment if they're played in different environments.
