I like the way runes adapt to low gut string banjo. It is no longer a fiddle tune....it is something else. So what if it is slower and clunkier...it takes on another elegance.

I feel the same.  Except rather than clunky, more like ...chewy.  Fine wine descriptives work well here i think.   :)

Plenty of room in the world for playing and enjoying tunes in various ways, no?
