I know they are cadi-dids or June Bugs in the back ground...nice swampy effect with the back ground noise and that o'l Tackhead. Living out here and well acquainted with Rattle Snakes, as I am sure you are too, being in Texas. it sounds like you are playing to an audience of Rattle Snakes. I like it!
by the way...that banjo cuts threw real nice. You built that?
This is a lesson on how to play a half note. Let it have it's time. Watch Steve's right hand. He resists the urge to rush. That's harder than it looks. That's mojo.
yessir , I built it. Im not sure its something I would recommend thouth LOL I did it cause I just didnt have the money, to get one. Man the learning curve is steep, I have re-done the upper neck profile on 3 out of 4 Ive made. I kept making it too dang big.
I thought I was saving money building myself,,, but unless you are going to go on building, and have a lot of free time, in retrospect , Id somehow buy one. You did the right thing buying yours. Ill admit is is fun to be able to say I made it,,, but its not near the quaility of one made by a pro:(
That's an accomplishment, any of you guys, or ladies that go for building your own. The Coffin case I made, same thing, thought well why spend $300.00, I can do that, but even though had a had a better idea I might have bought my supplies at one swoop, but nickle and dimmed it. when all was said and done I ended up spending about $230.00, so there ya go. Well it looks good and sounds goon on tape.
