Nice presentation Andy for those playing along at home.
Yeah, I was up too late fooling around with iMovie. Because I recorded with a metronome, it was pretty easy to get the images synced up with the music (1 measure in 2/4 at 120BPM = 2 seconds)
I noticed you play the triplet (at 00:04) with dotted notes so that it flows into the following dotted notes.
Has a nice lilt to it.
D'oh! You're right about that triplet. A case of me leaving the music behind before totally memorizing it. Not that these tunes aren't open to interpretation... but I may have do another take.
Andy, you are also adding swing-dots to many of the other pairs of notes that don't have it. Just so you know!- as it does change the feel. ;)
I love the natural in this tune- really makes it. Nice and breezy. :)
Great little tune. Nice "feel-good" groove too. It's adding to my enjoyment of our first really nice spring weekend up here! (Sounds like it might have concertina potential.) Maybe I'll just follow the bouncing ball...
