Nice job on an oft overlooked Foster song.  So are you considered eccentric in France?  I mean, do doubt we are considered so in the U.S.  I can't imagine what the French culture thinks of what you're doing but maybe I'd be surprised.

Stephen Foster does not exist in France. .... and yes I think to be a "UFO" in my own country, in old time or bluegrass it goes a bit, but in classic banjo or even worse Minstrel. .. it's another story. ... for short ... people here tell me "ah yes the banjo as in the film ... duellin banjo" it saddens me pck my country loses all cultural identity. ..
