My First Jig by Dan Emmett
This song was found in the Hans Nathan Book and is said to be from the1840's. There is some ornamentaion I left out, as this might have actually been a fife song. I don't know much about it, other than the information listed above, I wish I knew more about it. The old tub had a real growl to it this morning. Never can tell what it's gonna do. We're drying out for the winter I guess. I'll take any information or insight into Dan Emmett and these tunes found in his manuscript. If anybody wants to see the music, I'll put it up in photos.
