Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

Sometimes you have to love a tune just for the title. I found this one tonight in Kerr's Vol 1. The key change was my own idea. Other than that..straight from the fiddle book.

Been there and back a few times over the years.  The air's a bit thin for my liking, but thanks!   ;)

Catchy little tune.

Looks like most of the up the neck playing can be played out of a couple of different chord positions.  Maybe on the old Epiphone first (it has frets),but a good tune to work on.

The only problem is it is in "G", I have enough problems with E/A, so i threw it in MuseScore on the computer to see if it would transpose it. But since I can't seem to upload the file on this thread ( don't know why the attachment button is not showing up) I'll post it on the Forum.

Scott, I think you cannot attach files to posts that are in 'comment' areas, such as this video comment wall.  You have to use a forum post to attach files.

Yeah,  The various boards sometimes have slightly different formats for doing stuff.

It gets confusing sometimes,so I posted it to the forum.  Live and learn.
