Nice. You don't hear that one often. This song was a Prime Mover, was it not? Nice melody, no doubt. Good story for discussion at a performance if need be....it's everything that is wrong with Minstrelsy.

Yes...Al and I were just discussing it....getting ready to try it. Another one I've never heard ( I've done it instrumentally, but no lyrics yet) is Back Side Albany. It predates them all.

In reading on the site about this song about a year ago, it seemed that many people out there had never heard it and wanted to. Thought I'd try it. It's one of the fantastic pieces found in the Banjo Preceptor.
