From Kerr's Vol 4. Ha, false start...I thought of doing a pull off from F# to E after I started. Still working in cool fingerings. Little things change the playability and character.

From a Tin Whistle book I have there is a song Johnny get you Hair Cut, the first four measures are very similar. Sounds great on the gourd. Good stuff...nice morning song.
It's a great joy when music is not a major effort....you can enjoy a tune like a morning paper. I confess, I worked hard to get there, but it is so worth it now.
I have this vision, you pop open a book and just knock out the song on the spot. Comforting to know there is a process. So what is that phenomenon that occurs when you hit the record button,..when everything you just learned goes out the window after the red light quits flashing and you are live?
You think I will confess to the number of outtakes?
Nope!
HA! That will be on the Deluxe DVD Edition.
+1 on my list ,
Anyway, I think it would qualify to have been in an early banjo book. I don't think "they" met like the Catholic church to decide upon the "Minstrel Canon". It was ll stuff like this. Some is obvioulsly better than others.
Are you playing it as written?
Yes....exactly.
Always the best place to start.
