I've always found this melody to be charming.  I think your homestyle unfussy version suits it perfectly.

Very enjoyable to listen to, and I can smell the nice aroma from that pipe!

A funny aside-  it struck me that with the occasional puff of smoke as part of the experience, you could be imagined as some sort of steam-powered banjo-playing 'machine' or automaton, with a little smokestack disguised as a pipe!  lol

Thank you for the kind words about the rendition of the song, Strumelia! I appreciate that. Too funny about the pipe and the steam-powered banjo-playing automaton. If I'm ever out of work, maybe I can work up an act and sell it Disney. They could put me in the room across from Abraham Lincoln! :-)
