For enthusiasts of early banjo
Tim Twiss and San Slomovits.
It sure looks cold and damp. You might take a little flack from some folks for the synthetic head but your practical wisdom saved you from canceling that performance. You might even gain a following of poor souls who suffer the wrath of the damp skin head. Great bones player.
It was cold and damp. Barely 50 degrees, if that. The dew was really coming on. I did not even retune, leaving my mind to concentrate on and enjoy the music. It was a fast paced show, and I was grateful to not have to mess around. Unless somebody hears something otherwise, I would say that Hartel Boucher gave a great response under those conditions...blindfolded, could anyone tell it was synthetic?
