Adding tuba to the Minstrel ensemble at 21013 Dexter Civil War Days. Thanks Dan Bilich, Al Smitley, and San Slomovitz.

Love the Tuba. We definitely need more minstrel tuba players.
Gotta get Al up in the mix in the videos. Al's a heck of a good fiddler with an uncommonly sweet tone. Tim- two guys recently contacted me about banjos. They live right between you and me. Maybe 2 more in the Michigan ranks.
Terry, thank you for your kind words. If I'm lingering in the background, it's of my own doing, succumbing to my lack of confidence and stage anxiety. Yesterday morning, I searched for online tips of the topic and am embarrassed to gradually realize that I'm merely being self-centered!
If those of us who are similarly afflicted could learn to place the priority on having fun instead of fretting over our personal abilities, everything would work out much better!
My brother in law plays tuba. This gives me ideas.
Well I sure enjoy your fiddling Al. I don't like playing alone much, but somebody else there gives me confidence.
Tuba...I know, and I'm hooked now.
Tim, I hope you are forwarding the positive tuba comments to Dan!
