Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

A quartet of Stroke Style classics from that first great banjo book of 1855. Simple, driving, and snappy! Tunes include (in order) Circus Jig, Camptown Hornpipe, Neber Do To Gib It Up So, and Jim Along Josey. I recommend any of these to those of you just starting out.

Deftlty edited. Looks like you added a "snap" to the B part of Circus Jig, instead of a full nail glide or slide or whatever they called it. That's a tough "lick."

Sharp eye (ear) Carl. I took the Rice approach to that lick and used a pull. I like that much better when that sequence appears with open strings.
