I know you guys can't see it, but spammers are knocking at our door like Night of the Living Dead. crazy....we filter carefully.

Don't forget to use the "ban for spam" function when giving them the boot rather than just "ban"- that will eject their particular ID and IP address from any other Ning sites they've gained entry to as well, across the board.

They don't actually join....we decline them before they can.

I know.  You can 'ban for spam' instead of merely declining their application.  Without letting them join. This helps place them on NING's universal blocked user list. E-me if you need detailed instructions, it's actually easy to do.
