This was a surprise. I was sunning my banjo outside to tighten up the head, getting ready to play..had Bully for All in my head. went inside to turn on the radio and listen to the show, and St Patrick's Day was playing...WHAT ?, then "Bully for All", then it was reveled to be Bill Evans. There are a few other players. I caught the show in the middle. Here is the link below, you can listen to the whole show or pick the parts. Enjoy!
I couldn't find the video of Bill playing St Patrick's Day, But it is somewhere in the middle of the show.
I heard the clip. Did they discuss it at all?
Not after the song. I didn't catch the beginning of the tune and after he was done they moved on to the other pieces. I'm going to listen to the whole show and see if there is any discussion about the banjo prior to him commencing the tunes. But what a trip to hear those songs playing on the radio on a beautiful sounding minstrel banjo.
Saw a FB post where George W said it was hid Boucher being played.
his
Okay...next up - Johnny Carson ( I mean Jay Leno )
